Today I am sharing with you some favorite weight loss meals that are a great addition to a healthy, vegan, plant based meal plan. It’s always a great idea to have a plan to get you to your goal. And for me, picking a few easy vegan, plant based meals and rotating them throughout the week was the easiest way to stay consistent and on track with losing weight. Recipes from the video:
Blueberry Oatmeal:
3/4 c rolled oats
1.5 c water
Date sweetened water or 1/2 banana
frozen blueberries
bring to a boil and add water (or banana)
For toppings add defrosted blueberries and peanut butter sauce (1tsp peanut butter, 1-2 tbsp pb2, water)
Smoothie Bowl –
2.5 – 3 frozen bananas
1 pitted date
1 tbsp unsweet cocoa powder
Splash of unsweet plant milk
Blend until smooth
Add Strawberries, bran flakes and ground flax seeds for toppings
Edamame, Quinoa Bow
Heat frozen edamame and frozen quinoa (micro or stove top)
Add Nutritional Yeast and Low sodium soy – add the amount that taste good to you.
Potato Salad
Cook 8-10 two bite potatoes (I like yukon gold and I like to cut in half)Once cooked mix potatoes and Hungry Vegan Mama dressing together (1 serving) DRESSING HERE – https://www.hungryveganmama.com/blog/oil-free-salad-dressing
Add potatoes to lots of salad
Taco Bowl
Throw frozen veggie or fresh in a pot (I like to use bell peppers, corn and broccoli. Once defrosted or soft, add salsa (to taste)
Then add black beans
Mix together well and serve with rice
1 tbsp chopped peanuts for topping

Sweet Fried Rice
Add frozen or fresh veggies to pot (I like to use bell peppers, peas, shredded carrots)
Once defrosted or soft, add sweet chili sauce (Thai Kitchen https://amzn.to/2S8yQfE) – add to taste
Mix together and enjoy
